CHEVY 327 ENGINE CASTING #3959512 for sale in Pascagoula, Mississippi

For sale is a Chevy 327 short block casting number 3959512. Day code is D175 (April 17, 1965) Recognition printed on the appropriate front of the block is CE5N29895 S0602XCB. This engine apparently left the manufacturing facility as a warranty service substitute engine (crate engine-CE). Casting number 3959512 was a production number from 62-67, then utilized on warranty engines for auto and trucks. I do not know just what this engine emerged of. This block was cast with a gap for a roadway draft tube, and regulation for a cylinder type oil filter, a twist on adapter is on the engine now. This engine has a small journal, forged steel crankshaft (# 4577) and 2 bolt primary caps. It has the initial 4" birthed and there are no ridges on top of the cyndrical tubes, leading me to think that it has few hours on it. It prevented over easily. I have actually had this engine in my garage area for the previous 25 or 30 years and I am washing residence. What you view in the pictures is included.
